About MEDSHAPE fat reduction system

Approximately 80% of women over the age of 20 are affected by cellulite regardless of their weight and size. Lean women are just as affected by cellulite as heavier women. Cellulite consists of fat cells trapped within the superficial layers of the skin. The only way to smooth it out is to disrupt the connective tissue bands that hold the fat cells in place. The fat cells settle into the deeper layers and the skin looks smoother and more even. This treatment is painless, non-invasive.
MEDSHAPE is a device that combines Bi-Polar radiofrequency energy, infrared light energy, negative pressure and deep tissue massage (elos technology). It is a painless way to change the look of your body without having surgery.
We recommend once weekly treatments for a series of about 5 weeks. Each treatment lasts anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour, depending on how many areas you want to treat. When you come in for treatment, make sure to clean the area to be treated so that it is free of body oils. You also want to make sure that you shave and use a body scrub treatment to remove any sunless tanning products prior to the procedure. The MEDSHAPE treatment is virtually painless. You don’t need to worry about applying any type of topical pain reliever before your treatment. Once you have your desired look, it’s extremely easy to maintain! Good diet and exercise, along with supporting treatments once every two months will help maintain your newly toned body.!
In addition to having your cellulite reduced, MEDSHAPE  provides many other positive benefits. You will notice decreased muscle aches and pains and increased circulation. You will also have increased self-confidence and a better body image with tighter and firmer skin.
MEDSHAPE is one of the safest and most effective ways of reducing cellulite. It is effective on all skin types and all skin colors. There is absolutely no downtime which means you can return to your daily activities immediately following treatment.

About cryolipolysis systems

Many cosmetic and medi spas are looking for effective and effective treatments. Cryolipolysis is one of the methods that is currently very popular. This is a type of fat loss treatment that essentially “freezes” away fat. The cryolipolysis machine provides you with the right treatment.

How cryolipolysis systems work?

The cryolipolysis machine utilizes a vacuum probe as a means to pull fat and cellulite to the treatment handle. At that point, the flesh is exposed to low temperatures, which then freezes the fat, which causes the cells to become damaged. These destroyed fat bodies are being cleaned up during the course of a couple of weeks. The temperatures are low enough to destroy the fat cells.

Contraindications:

Cryolipolisys treatment cannot be applied in some cases. All these cases have been listed below:
active skin allergy
pregnancy
inflammation of the body
skin injuries
skin infections (bacterial, viral, fungal)
any viral or fungal infections
tattoo placed on the treated area
an excessive alkohol drinking
cancers
epilepsy
psoriasys, herpes, albinism
Raynaud’s disease
cryoglobulinaemia
haemophilia
diabetes
blood clotting disorder
kidneys and liver disease
hormonal disorders
heart diseases (pacemaker)
hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidis

Treatment preparation:

Cryolipolisys treatment does not require any special preparation. We recommend to drink 2 liters of water 24 hours before the treatment.

After the treatment we recommend:

to avoid high-protein, high-energy and high-fat foods
to eat only light food and avoid the fat and strongly flavored ones
to drink about 2 litres of water for 24 hours after the treatment.

About laser hair removal system

Laser hair removal is the process of heating up the hair follicle by means of a purposely condensed laser-generated beam of light. A beam is selected to destroy the follicle regenerative structure by the application of heat to the follicle, however the beam does not damage the adjacent tissues. After treatment, the follicle itself is impaired and ceases to produce subsequent hair.

Efficient laser hair removal greatly depends on the hair growth cycle. The process consists of three different phases: anagene, catagene and telogene. The treatment conducted throughout the anagene phase brings about the long-lasting results. As not all hair growth occurs at the same pace, this treatment has to be repeated several times in order to make sure that all hair growth has been stopped. To learn more about the phases of the hair life-cycle, please click here.
Efficient laser hair removal greatly depends on the hair growth cycle. The process consists of three different phases: anagene, catagene and telogene.

Anagene

The first phase of hair growth is anagene. When laser hair removal is applied during this phase, we can effectively benefit from it, achieving the expected results. In this phase, the hair reaches its maximum length, whilst the hair bulb remains open; however, in the feeding process, it is the papilla (which is actually linked with the blood system) that is considered important.

Catagene

Another phase of the hair growth cycle is named catagene. This is the transition phase. In this phase, the hair is released out of the papilla and it soars up towards the skin surface. Then, all the processes related to the hair growth successively come to a halt.

Telogene

The final phase is telogene. This is the rest phase. Throughout this period, the hair unit is initially fed basing on the hair follicle and then it unfortunately passes away and eventually comes out. It is best if the treatment is not carried out at this phase, as it has little impact.

Treatment preparation

The issue of contraindications to laser hair removal treatment is very important, however it is also essential to follow correct guidelines before, during and after treatments.
These guidelines are to be followed prior to the treatment:
It is necessary to shave the hair in the depilation spot just before the treatment.
The skin should not be dry or irritated. Prior to the treatment, apply the cream and body lotions, and drink 2 liters of mineral water.
Hair must not be pulled out for a period of 4 to 8 weeks before the treatment (tweezers, wax, mechanical hair removers). However, they may be shaved, cut off or removed using the cream.

Creams and ointments cannot be applied in the treatment area for 4 weeks prior to the treatment.

Peeling has to be ceased 1 week before.

Active skin infections in the treatment area (bacterial, virus, fungal) are considered contraindications against the treatment. The procedure may be applied 1 month following the healing of the infection.

Active sunburn and bronzers cannot be used for medical reasons. Sun tanning has to be ceased at least  4-6 weeks before the treatment.

After-treatment procedures

A few principles have to be observed after the treatment. These are as follows:
Sunbathing is absolutely forbidden for 2 weeks following the hair removal.
Subsequent treatments need to be carried out at the intervals of 4 up to 12 weeks.
A natural post-treatment effect is a temporary swelling and/or redness of the treated skin area and/or minor crusts. All symptoms should disappear no later than after a few days. During this period, the skin needs to be treated gently according to the following guidelines:
Wash with a soap-free cleanser or tonic or alcohol-free lotion, or pure wate,
Do not apply deodorants and anti-perspirants right after the treatment (in the event of underarm hair removal),
Apply powders, cream or ointments,
Gently dry the skin, do not rub it or irritate it in other way,
Scrubs can be introduced after 2 weeks following the treatment,
After laser hair removal treatment (only legs and bikini, brasilian areas) do not wear  skin-tight clothes.

About Tattoo removal system

While tattoos can be beautiful pieces of artwork, and they can help a person express who they are, sometimes people make mistakes with their tattoos. In some cases, the tattoo artist might have made a mistake or the artwork is poor. Other times, the person who got the tattoo might have misjudged whether or not it was a good idea. Perhaps they got a name of someone they no longer love tattooed on their arm. Maybe they realized that they did not really want that Sonic the Hedgehog on their thigh.

Today, the use of lasers to help remove tattoos makes it easier for people to get rid of those unwanted tattoos. Having these lasers in your clinic or medi spa could be a great idea so you can help those people who want their tattoos removed.

It is not necessary to prepare the skin in a particular way prior to the treatment. The skin should be clean, without pathological exanthemas. The treatment has to be preceded with the consultation.

Owing to a unique cooling system, discomfort throughout the treatment is inconsiderable and there is no need of anesthesia. A treatment may be followed by a short-term (up to 2 days) slight redness and edema.

After treatment we recommend:

not to expose the skin to the sun (or solarium) for minimum one month following the treatment
to protect the skin with high SPF, because the UV radiation may cause discolorations
not to apply irritating or drying agents onto the skin for a few days after the treatment
to avoid overheating of the treated skin (e.g. sauna, hot baths) and irrelevant physical effort that rise up blood pressure (workouts) as well as situations involving skin injuries.
the thread veins have to be properly cared on a day-to-day basis.
to apply appropriate beauty products/cosmetics fitting the spider veins, that assist in shrinking and strengthening of the capillaries.
deficiencies of B2, PP and C Vitamins need to be supplemented.
to protect the skin from cold and moisture through applying protective creams in the fall and winter time.

Organic Spray Tanning

We stock a comprehensive range of professional sunless tanning products; available in natural shades which last longer, perform better and fade evenly.
We are service oriented and want your experience to be a pleasant one.

How do the sunless tanning products work?

The active ingredient in almost all modern sunless tanning products is Dihydroxyacetone (DHA). A colorless sugar, DHA interacts with the proteins and amino acids in the outer layer of your skin to produce a golden brown color. This is called the “Maillard Reaction”. In addition to DHA, Organic solutions contain Aloe, Vegetable Glycerin, White Tea and Grapefruit Seed Extract to actually moisturize and nourish your skin as your tan develops.

Is it safe?

DHA is not to be applied to mucous membranes such as lips, female genitalia, opened eyes or inhaled. If you go to a salon that does not provide a ventilation system such as our MAXIMIST or Essentials series unit you should turn around and leave. Mist on shower type booth operators should always provide you with nose filters to protect against inhalation since the spray cannot be controlled.

How long does my sunless tan last?

Your tan will last approximately seven days or longer depending upon your ability to follow a proper daily moisturizing regiment and your lifestyle. A sunless tan fades just like a tan from the sun. As you slough off dead skin cells off with them goes your tan. Proper skin hydration is the key to maximum longevity.

Can you use tanning beds or tan outdoors in conjunction with sunless tanning?

Absolutely. Although repeated exposure to ultraviolet light is deemed to cause premature aging and cancers of the skin, you can still do both. Sunless tanning offers no protection from ultraviolet light. Even though you have a tan a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or more is recommended. Drying your skin out in the sun or by alternative sources can reduce the longevity of your sunless tan.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my tanning session?

Yes. Prior to being tanned you should exfoliate exfoliating scrub. Removing any dead cells and body oils will help the sunless tanner penetrate your skin and give you the best results. Do not use moisturizers prior to being tanned as they can clog pores and prohibit proper penetration. Makeup and deodorants can also prohibit absorption and should also be removed prior to tanning.
